Boxer Ben Jones from Redhill in Surrey is on the brink of his biggest fight yet and Ferroli is proud to be sponsoring him in his bid to win a world title.
We met Ben, who runs his own plumbing & heating business, through HPS Crawley, a stockist for the Ferroli Modena HE range of boilers, and were keen do what we could to help him achieve the success he deserves on the world boxing stage.
Since Ben won the WBO European super-featherweight belt on his home turf at Crawley’s K2 venue in February, he’s had fight offers pouring in. Ben tops the bill at Hove Town Hall on Saturday 22 June and his promoter Kaz Evans believes victory for the 30-year-old could secure a crack at world honours against current IBF champion Argenis Mendez from the Dominican Republic.
“This won’t be an easy win for Ben but he’s at world level now and we want to keep him there by matching him tough,” said Kaz of Assassin Promotions. “We want him to keep having to produce world-class performances. He isn’t as big as Ricky Hatton yet – but he’s getting there.”
We’re proud to have the Ferroli logo appearing on Ben’s shorts and gown and will be watching keenly for news of the next stage in Ben’s journey to the top. Watch this space for updates on Ben’s progress towards a likely date in July for the big fight.
